Finding Items to Sell

First, you need stuff to sell. This will not be an all-inclusive list, but I’ll try and write down everything I think of that’s worth something, and why. I will not list prices, because I do not have the time to maintain this page with current prices. If you’ve found something you think might have value, use a price-checking addon or the TTC website to check the price, or ask for a price check.

I will assign one or more stars, depending on how well they sell and how much gold you can sell them for.

Crafting Materials

  • Refined materials like Rubedite Ingots and Platinum Ounces, and more.
  • Unrefined materials, like Rubedo Hide Scraps, Rough Maple, and more.
    • These sometimes have more value than the refined materials because an experienced crafter can refine them for a higher chance of getting upgrade materials.
  • Upgrade materials
  • Many Alchemy and Provisioning materials.
  • Furnishing materials, such as Regulus, Decorative Wax, Mundane Runes, Heartwood, and more.
  • Some rare style materials, such as Shimmering Sand.

  • Dragon Rheum and Dragon Blood – both harvested from killing dragons in Elsweyr and used to craft expensive potions.

Gear

  • Lots of Bind on Equip set items are valuable. The market for these items recently changed, following the release of item set curation.
    • or more
  • The most valuable set items usually possess the traits Divines, Precise, or Sharpened, but with the advent of Set Collections, nearly any overland set item of any level, quality, or trait has value.

  • Motif Books and Chapters
    • These can drop in Dungeons and Trials, as rewards during in-game events, and many other places.
