First, you need stuff to sell. This will not be an all-inclusive list, but I’ll try and write down everything I think of that’s worth something, and why. I will not list prices, because I do not have the time to maintain this page with current prices. If you’ve found something you think might have value, use a price-checking addon or the TTC website to check the price, or ask for a price check.
I will assign one or more stars, depending on how well they sell and how much gold you can sell them for.
Crafting Materials
- Refined materials like Rubedite Ingots and Platinum Ounces, and more.
- Unrefined materials, like Rubedo Hide Scraps, Rough Maple, and more.
- These sometimes have more value than the refined materials because an experienced crafter can refine them for a higher chance of getting upgrade materials.
- Upgrade materials
- Many Alchemy and Provisioning materials.
- Furnishing materials, such as Regulus, Decorative Wax, Mundane Runes, Heartwood, and more.
- Some rare style materials, such as Shimmering Sand.

- Certain Trait materials, like Potent and Fortified Nirncrux, Slaughterstones, Aurbic Amber, and more.

Special Materials
- Perfect Roe – obtained by fileting fish. Used to craft Psijic Ambrosia and Clockwork Citrus Filet.
- Aetherial Dust – obtained in any Alliance zone, very rarely. Used to craft Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia.
- Clam Gall – obtained in Summerset from fishing, Giant Clams, and Abyssal Geysers. Used to craft Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl.
- Powdered Mother of Pearl – obtained in Summerset from fishing, Giant Clams, and Abyssal Geysers. Used to craft Artaeum Takeaway Broth.
- Dragon Rheum and Dragon Blood – both harvested from killing dragons in Elsweyr and used to craft expensive potions.
Gear
- Lots of Bind on Equip set items are valuable. The market for these items recently changed, following the release of item set curation.

- The most valuable set items usually possess the traits Divines, Precise, or Sharpened, but with the advent of Set Collections, nearly any overland set item of any level, quality, or trait has value.

- Essence Potions
- Crafted, tri-stat Essence potions are worth orders of magnitude more then the single-stat potions found on corpses.
- Provisioning Recipes
- These can drop for any reasonable loot source, but are most common in containers like Backpacks, Wardrobes, etc.
- Some aren’t worth much, but rarer ones can be worth staggering amounts.

- Crafted Food – if you can craft the more popular in-game foods, you can sell high.

- On the low end these aren’t worth much, but on the higher, rarer end, these can be the most valuable items in the entire game.

- These can drop in Dungeons and Trials, as rewards during in-game events, and many other places.
- Again, the lower end ones aren’t worth much of anything, but the rarer chapters (and some whole motif books) can be worth astonishing amounts.

- Usually obtained during in-game events, these drop massively in price during their respective events, but increase dramatically in the months following the events.
